Crusing Spots Jacksonville Fl

Roadtrip - Day 9: San Diego

California Dreamin 'On Such A Winter's Day ...

Well after having long hesitated between the Hilton and Marriott, we finally chose South Carlsbad State Beach (the hotel was too bad Y'avait not even the sound of waves to lull us !):

Camping minimalist version:

Version " look at me I have a bigger than you (trailer)"

"On Such A Winter's Day", not quite but almost, it happens to fall in San Diego a day when it rains (300 days of sunshine per year) :-(

The atmosphere is pretty cool-hippie in the corner, we stop for breakfast in a cafe organic / vegetarian Encinitas, where a group of ex-hippies are in discussion to stop a project of the mayor apparently (we could not sign the petition they offered us because we were not residents of the area ...):

After McDonald's, pharmacy, bank ... this is the espresso drive-thru!

I did a letter to Brigitte Bardot, frankly require cats to go to school, that dog!

We did a little tour of the mall Horton Plaza, hoping the rain will subside, but after trying one out at 5 minutes and have taken up completely soaked the car. It is in the historic Gaslamp :

There fluke, it falls on the tourist trolley ! Not even need to read the plan about where to go, we will follow (we're not the queen of discretion by cons, our mill was soon spotted by people in the back of the trolley, which marrent conspicuously !)...

Cross the San Diego / Coronado Bay Bridge , it is still raining ...

We arrive on the island of Coronado , where it has a nice view of San Diego:

Hotel del Coronado:

then spread to San Diego and Balboa Park :

Then we head towards the Old Town :

It is still raining ...

bad it will not be nice because this area is very nice! We return to port, and the sky cleared just enough to give us a beautiful sunset:

And it ends Little Italy by :

was still lucky, a tent (and sleeping bags they had left inside, not smart ...) did not took water, egg (for once we spent 2 nights in a row in the same place ...)!

Tomorrow, the desert :-)
