Do You Have To Boil Peppers Before Roasting

Roadtrip - Day 12: New Mexico

New Mexico ...

From day one sees better :-) The entrance to the campsite :

Our "location":

A retro deco (with great caravans grid bread ")!

We'll maybe change their car, it is nice one!

Breakfast on the terrace of the Rotunda, fresh bread, jams and nutellaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa choice (when I told you it's better than the Ritz !)...

Has it come to that later we ...

Lets see Bisbee day (actually it was just duped the way, hush):

Just outside of Bisbee ago the Lavender Open Pit , remnant mining intense in the city (here it was copper):

Back on the road!

We followed ...

Oh no, we actually doubled (trucks they are faster than in France!):

It's pretty dry here:

And it continues, again and again, lalala:

Marcel stilll!

Hop, it changes state:

A ghost town it must be cool:

But it closed :-( The whole city belongs to a family who supports it should make an appointment to visit with them, we did not know! Billy the Kid had worked as a dishwasher at a restaurant in the city when he was a kid ...

It also looks like a ghost town, it's just a few stores along the road:

Jesus should be happy we let this number as the edge of the road it owes even more to watch Téléfoot Mass on France 2 quiet Sunday!

We arrive at Las Cruces :

And the old city adjacent Mesilla :

It still follows the footsteps of Billy the Kid:

A little chili?

vehicles of the day: caravan on pickup ...

... or car behind motorhome? Not even need a special license to drive these monsters: - /

Caution in 1 / 2 mile you will have to slalom to avoid missiles ...

We spend another barrage of cops (well that customs officers ...), this time they make us stop and get our passports (it must be painful in the long run all these checks ...). We arrive at the entrance to White Sands just for the sunset:

It is too late to come of course ...

But we'll come back tomorrow not be disappointed!
